WEEKLY OFFERING. The weekly collection on Sunday 6th September came to
£2,966.10, plus £1,990 in standing orders, and the monthly c ollection, for the support of
the priests, was ££2,794.02, plus £635 in standing orders. On line donations in August
amounted to £375. Thank you for your continued generosity and support. For information

The symbol above for this year ’s Season of
Creation depicts water flowing from the
Temple of God – at first a tiny stream that
grows deeper, and deeper and as it does so,
it brings life to dead areas and restores fer-
tility to damaged or barren ecosystems.
Through living water comes healing; but in
order to receive new life, we too must step
into the water and also become part of
God ’s river of life, taking part in the healing
of creation.

WEEKDAYS MONDAY 14TH, TUESDAY 15TH & WEDNESDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER:
There will be a Gathering for the Priests of Down & Connor in Dromantine for these
days. As a result, there will be No 9.15am Mass on these mornings. However,
Deacon Brendan will be leading a Eucharistic Adoration Prayer Service and
Benediction at 9.15am on each morning. The normal Mass schedule will resume on
Thursday 17th September. Apologies for the inconvenience.
EVENTS
FOOD DRIVE
To mark the Season of Creation, and as we also celebrate the time of harvest, the
parish is again organising a food drive, to support our local food banks. NON -
PERISHABLE FOODS can be left in both churches, in the gathering space in Holy
Family church, and at the sacristy in St Thérèse church, between 19th and 27th Sep-
tember. Your support for this initiative will be greatly appreciated by the many
people who rely on food banks.
AN ECONOMY OF ENOUGH in a Time of Crisis a nd Opportunity. Earth Day
Conference report launch on 24th September at 7.30pm, in 22 Lower Windsor Ave.
