church webcams on www.mcnlive.tv. What ’s On in Our Parish: Parish Surgery —there will be NO PARISH SURGERY this Monday 14th September as Canon Robert away on retreat. Prayer & Communion Services— on Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th September by Deacon James in Dundrum at 9.30am. The service will be lay led on Tuesday 15th September. St Carlo Acutis— many thank to the Parishioners who purchased medals, prayer cards and candles. A young gent after Mass spoke to Canon Robert and Decon James informing them he had met St Carolo Acutis ’ mother in Paris—how special! Parish Fundraising Concert on Friday 18th September –countdown on for this event! Parishioners and friends are requested to be seated by 6.45pm please. Parish Pastoral Council Members will be available to provided help in carpark and chapel. “Helpers ” would be most welcome to come along to tidy chapel on Monday 14th September at 7pm and setup community centre on Thursday 17th September at 7pm. Not too late to purchase ticket! We hope everyone has an enjoyable evening. Canon Robert —will be away on retreat after Mass on Sunday the 13th September until Wednesday 16th September inclusive. Please contact Mary Polland for any emergencies 07713 701 750. Parish Pastoral Council Meeting— held last Tuesday the following was agreed. The 1st Anniversary of Deacon James Ordination will be held on Sunday 4th October 2026. Following tea and coffee and light refreshments for everyone. Parishioners are ALSO welcome to join Deacon James and his family for lunch in Maginn ’s Castlewellan (payable!) Please inform Annette or Mary if you wish to attend and choose menu! October is the Month of the Rosary and at weekend Masses the Rosary will be recited (outside, weather permitÝng) in Ballykinlar at 5.45pm and Dundrum at 10.30am. Harvest Display —Parishioners/Friends who would like to help with the display please come along to chapel on Thursday 1st October at 7pm. Your views will be very welcomed! November 2026 —There will only be ONE Mass this year (in November) for all those who have died (or buried) since November 2025 in Ballykinlar. Date to be confirmed.

The Chosen – Season 2 at the Belfast Jesuit Centre
Weekly screenings of The Chosen: Season 2 will take place
each Friday at the Belfast Jesuit Centre. Tea/coffee at
10.45am, episode at 11.00am, followed by a reflective
Examen and discussion. All are welcome; no registration

Beginning Experience – Beginning Experience is a peer
ministry to the bereaved, separated and divorced, based
within the Family Ministry of the Diocese of Down and
Connor. We are offering a support programme over three
Saturdays from September through to November and
would be most grateful if you could include the following
information in your Church Bulletin at your earliest
convenience. The loss of a partner through death,
separation or divorce is devastating. Beginning Experience is
offering a programme of bereavement support in St Bride ’s
Hall, Derryvolgie Ave., Belfast on three Saturdays (26th
September 24th October and 21st November)

popular author, Provincial Tour of Ireland. Join us for the

Pioneer Gathering – Sunday 27 September 2026
A meeting for all Pioneers who are interested in helping to renew and strengthen the Pioneer Association in Down &
Connor will take place on: Sunday 27 September at 3.00 pm
in Holy Family Gathering Space, Holy Family Church,
Newington Avenue, Belfast. This gathering is open to all
Pioneers, especially those who would like to support a fresh
start, new energy, and renewed commitment within our
diocese. We would be delighted to welcome as many
Pioneers as possible.
Each year, volunteers in parishes across the north of
Ireland set up a small stall after Masses to sell Trócaire ’s
Gifts of Change — meaningful gifts that make a real
difference to families living in poverty around the world.
We provide everything you need including training and
support. All we ask is a little time and a big heart. Last
Christmas, 50 parishes took part — and we ’d love to grow
that number even more this year! If you would like to find
