INVITATION TO CONTINUE THE JOURNEY
ChristLife ‘FOLLOWING CHRIST ’ Course
When Jesus called his first Disciples he said, “Come
Follow Me. ” He still makes that call to us today. The
‘ChristLife ’ series is an opportunity for you to respond to
that call and continue that journey you embarked upon
with Alpha. FOLLOWING CHRIST is a 7 -week course with a one day Retreat to
help you grow as a disciple of Jesus. The course will commen ce on
TUESDAY 15 SEPTEMBER 2026 at 7:00pm in
HOLY ROSARY PARISH CENTRE, 503 Ormeau Road, BT7 3GR.
Each evening will follow a format similar to the Alpha Course and include a video
presentation and small group discussions each evening.
We will also have time for tea and coffee and a little something to eat!
The evening should last no more than a couple of hours.

St Bernadette's Third World Group - Lima Mission
The Third World Group is collecting annual sponsorship payme nts after all the
Masses at St Bernadette ’s on 12th & 13th September .

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Down and Connor Diocese is renewing and developing its
Diocesan Adoration Lay Committee in order to increase the practice of
Eucharistic Adoration in parishes throughout the diocese.
You are welcome to attend an Information Meeting at ONE of these venues:

B.I.N.G.O is back, we ’re hoping for a FULL HOUSE!

COME AND SING WITH US!
St. Bernadette ’s Parish Choir is looking for new members! We return to our
musical duties on Sunday 6th September, singing each week at the 11.00am
Sunday Mass , with a rehearsal beforehand. There are no auditions, and you
don’t need to be an experienced singer - just someone who enjoys singing and
would like to be part of our choir. We warmly welcome singers of all ages, so if
you’ve ever thought about joining us, now is the perfect time to give it a try!

Down and Connor Cantor Training
Adults (18+) involved in Parish Music are invited to take part in Cantor Training
at St Joseph ’s Parish Centre, Dunloy. Training takes place on
Saturday 3 October, 17 October and 7 November,
from 10.00am to 3.00pm (registration from 9.30am) .
Attendance at all three days is required for commissioning as a parish cantor.

after Communion. The Autumn Voluntary Collection will be taken up

Please note that the 9:30am Mass at St. Bernadette ’s Parish will
not take place on the 14th, 15th, or 16th September due to the
Priests Conference/Retreat. Thank you for your understanding.

St Vincent de Paul have invited us to join them for their trip to Mount Stewart

Provincial Tour of Ireland. Join us for the Ulster event at the Canal Court
Hotel, Newry, on Tuesday 29th September at 6:45pm,
