Recent Deaths: We offer sympathy to the family, relatives & friends of
Natalie Mc Clean, formerly Ard Mc Carron, Ballybofey, whose funeral took
place on Saturday. May her soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in
peace.
Month ’s Minds: The 7.30pm Mass on Friday September 18th will be of-
fered for the repose of the soul of Roisin Ward, Main Street, Stranorlar.
1st Anniversary: The 6pm Mass on Saturday September 19th will be of-
fered for the repose of the soul of Bernard Dowds, Glenfin Street, Bally-
bofey.
Concern: The annual Concern Church Gate Collection will take place this
weekend Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th at all Masses. SEED Community Employment Project: have a vacancy for a Seed Com-
munity Employment Supervisors. For more information contact Shane on

Special Olympics Coffee Morning: Will take place in the Parish Centre on
September 17th from 9.30am to 12noon in aid of the Special Olympics. Your
support is greatly appreciated.
Alzheimer Society: Memory Walk 2026 will take place on September 20th
11.30am. The walk will take place at Drumboe woods – River Walk entrance
situated beyond Jacksons Hotel Car Park. We will have light refreshments for
our walkers in Jacksons Hotel after the walk. Get your tickets today
at www.memorywalk.ie to sign up. Price: Adults €20 Children €5.
Let ’s walk together in memory, in hope, and in support of every family living
with dementia, every step makes a difference.

Coffee Morning: Annual Hospice coffee morning in memory of the late Ai-
lish Gallinagh will be held on Thursday Sept. 24th from 10.00am to dark in the
home of Hazel Kee Backleas, Stranorlar. On this the 20th time for this event
there will also be a coffee morning in Brentwood Manor nursing home, Let-
terkenny Road, Convoy. Everyone welcome.
Donegal Group 173 Rise & Shine Trust: (formerly The Irish Handicapped
Children ’s Pilgrimage Trust & The Irish Pilgrimage Trust) are celebrating 40
years of taking young people with special needs to Lourdes each Easter.
We are celebrating with a special Mass on Saturday September 26th at 12noon
in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny. The Mass will be
concelebrated by Bishop Niall Coll & Bishop Donal Mc Keown, Bishop of
Derry and many of the priests who travelled to Lourdes with us over the
years. We invite all the guests and their families and all the helpers who trav-
elled with us over the years to our Mass to celebrate the work of the Donegal
Group over these forty years.
Thank You . We would like to thank everyone who supported our recent
“Pink Coffee Morning ”, for Breast Cancer Ireland. Thank you to all who
called to our home on the day, those who sent donations, anyone who baked
and to the team who helped with the setup & serving. We were overwhelmed
by your generosity which raised €3,120 for such a vital cause. Thank you all
