Triumph of the Holy Cross Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, today we honour the Triumph
of Your Holy Cross, the sign of Your great love
and victory over sin and death.
Thank You for embracing the Cross to save us.
Help us to carry our own crosses with faith, to
follow You with courage, and to find hope even in
suffering. May Your Cross always remind us that
love conquers all, and that through You, even
death has been defeated. Amen.
It's a joyful day to remember that the cross, through Jesus' love and
sacrifice, is a powerful symbol of hope, victory, and new life for all of us.
Let's carry this hope in our hearts.

A little reminder to us all: as there will be no Saturday evening Mass in Raphoe or Sunday morning Mas in
Drumkeen, all intentions booked for these Masses will be transferred to the nearest Mass in the particular Church.

The Annual Legion of Mary Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday, 27 September. It will cost around
€20. Confessions, Mass in Basilica, and Rosary procession. Contact either Sean Friel on 087 226 9221 or Bridie
Boyle on 086 175 2023 for more information.

A St Faustina Weekend will take place in St Mary ’s Church, Convoy Co Donegal F93FX66 on 3 and 4 October.
It will consist of prayer and reflection on Divine Mercy Devotions. Led by Fr Eamonn Kelly, the weekend will
invite all to come to know the Person of Divine Mercy. You are invited to come to all or part of the weekend.

St Mary ’s Youth Choir will meet on Wednesday, 16 September from 5.30 to 6.30. We welcome new children
over the age of 8 and anyone who can play an instrument would be particularly welcomed. St Mary ’s Adult Choir
will meet on Thursday, 24 September at 8pm and again new members and musicians are very welcome. For any

Donegal Pro Life would like to thank all those who supported the recent Church gate collection. Money raised

A Marriage Enrichment Weekend: Take time out for just the two of you. Whether newly married or many years
together, rediscover the love that brought you together. The weekend will take place from 2 to 4 October at

There will be a clearance sale of gifts, bric -a-brac and lots more on Saturday, 10 October in St Mary ’s Hall,
Convoy from 11am to 3pm. All are welcome. All proceeds are to help Mary's Meals feed more children.

Convoy Céilí Club: A Céilí in memory of Bill Meehan, Deceased, will be held on St. Mary's Hall Convoy on
Sunday, 20 September. Dancing is from 8pm to 11pm. Music by Martin Duggan. Admission including supper
€10. Proceeds to The Friends of Letterkenny Hospital.

Convoy Community and Environmental Committee invite everyone to their first over 60's social club meeting in
St Mary's Hall on Friday, 18 September from 12pm -2pm. There will be refreshments and music. It is a free event.

ABIDE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE will take place from 20 to 22 November at the Great Northern Hotel,
Bundoran. Speakers include: Fr. Barry Braum, Fr. Mark Wharton, Nashville Dominicans. Mass will be

A Church Gate Collection for the Re-Development of Ards Friary will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday
27 September. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

WE INVITE YOU TO COME & SEE what the Encounter School of Ministry Course is all about. Join us on
Thursday 17th September from 6.30pm (first half hour is prayer and worship) to 9.00pm at All Saints Church,
Newtowncunningham. Participants can attend up to 3 classes without committing to pay for the course. If a
participant decides to enrol before the application deadline of October 1st, tuition fees will then be applied. If a
