Coeliacs: For parishioners with gluten sensitivities, special low-gluten hosts are available at all Masses. To receive
please go to the main priest celebrant and say that you are coeliac. Please Note: As the Catholic Church requires a
minimal amount of gluten for the host to be valid matter, the hosts are not totally glute n free.
Clogher don Óige has begun hosting the second series of – The Chosen – a groundbreaking drama for young adults
about the life of Jesus Christ, told through the eyes of those who kn ew Him. It takes place each Thursday, for 8 weeks,
beginning 10th September, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in St. Joseph’s Pastoral Centre. An opportunity f or young adults
aged 18-40 to watch the series, take part in discussions, group sharing a nd prayer. To register or for more information

The Companions of the Gospel (COTG) are hosting an evening of prayer and testimony today, Sunday 13 th Sept in
St. Joseph’s Pastoral Centre from 6:30pm -8:30pm, all are welcome.

Hope and Healing: After a sellout experience last year, Fr John Flanagan, Truagh Parish, returns to th e Íontas Theatre,
Castleblayney, Tues 3 Nov. 2026, 8pm, with Celebrating Hope and Healing, a fusion of reflections and music. Written
and delivered by Fr. John, his heart felt reflections delve into the themes of hope, faith, forgiveness and inner healing,
offering the audience solace and inspiration. The accompanying music is composed and arranged by Lauren Murphy.

St Carlo Acutis, pray for us. UPDATE ON ST. MACART AN’S CATHEDRAL:
With the scaffolding now removed, we can now see our beloved Cathedral in all her glory once more. This immense project ensures
that St. Macartan’s Cathedral is now protected for further generations. As mentioned, our attentions now turn to the finer co mforts,
such as heating and toilet facilities, working hard to provide the best solution to meet the needs of parishi oners, whilst conscious of
our responsibility to ensure that we provide a sustainable system which protects our fragile environment. Our current fundraising
figure stands at €2.3million, raised thanks to the amazing generosity of our parishioners, clergy and diocesan wide support.
What happens next : Charitable Donations Scheme (separate to Monaghan Parish) will be rolled out in the coming months and we
ask, if you receive a CHY3/Enduring Certificate from us, that you complete and return same.
Yearly Pledges : If you have pledged to pay yearly and have yet to make your 2026 payment, just a reminder if you are paying by
cheque, please make cheque payable to Diocese of Clogher. You can drop it in Parish Office, or post to Bishop’s House,
