Anniversary Masses for 2027
St Michael’s Anniversary Mass book for 2027 opens on Tuesday 15th September in the Parish Office.
The 6pm Vigil Mass on Saturday is reserved for Month ’s Mind Masses.
The Sunday Masses are reserved for First Anniversary Masses.
Up to two Anniversaries may be booked for 10am weekday morning Mass.
The Diocesan Offering for a public Mass is £20.
To allow as many as possible to book as family Anniversary Mass, parishioners are requested i n so far as possible to
book only one Mass for all deceased family members.

Padre Pio Prayer Group will take place in St Michael ’s Parish Centre this Thursday 10th September at
6pm. Padre Pio said ‘Pray, Hope & Don ’t Worry ’ Everyone welcome to join us in prayer.

Padre Pio A Triduum in preparation for the Feast of Padre Pio will take place at the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh
from Sunday 20th - Wednesday 23rd September (inclusive). Mass, Homily & Blessing with Mitten at 7.30pm each

Friends o f the Cancer Centre annual walk with friends around Castlecoole will take place on Saturday 19th
September at 11am. Each step we take together raises vital funds to support people across N Ireland who have been

Planning a Baptism
When presenting a child for Baptism, parents are encouraged to contact the Par ish Office in good time so that the preparation process can be ex-
plained and any questions answered. The Church asks that a child have eith er one sponsor (Godparent) or, where two sponsors are chosen, one
male and one female sponsor. Sponsors should normally be practising Catholics, at least 16 years of age, who have received the Sacraments of
Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist, and who are willing to support the ch ild in the practice of the faith. Where this is not possible, we will
