OUR LADY OF MONTLIGEON PRAYER GROUP - praying for all the
souls in Purgatory meets in Termonbacca, on the last Wednesday each
month at 12:30pm. Also in St Joseph’s Church Galliagh every Monday
after 11am Mass.
FAITH IN FIRE - an exhibition from the Persecuted Church in Nigeria
will be held in Christ Church 14-20 September, 10.30am - 4.00pm each

SEASON OF CREATION 2026: The Season of Creation takes place
from 1 September to 4 October, bringing Christians throughout the world
together in prayer, reflection and action for the care of our common
home. This year’s theme, Living Water , invites us to give thanks for the
gift of water and renew our care for God’s creation.
MICHAEL ENGLISH CHURCH CONCERT: An evening of Faith,
Hope and Inspiration. The concert takes place on Friday 2 October at
7.15pm, in St Patrick's Church, Keenaught, Desertmartin. Tickets are £30,

TRIDUUM OF MASSES FOR BISHOP MICHAEL ROUTER: As the
diocese and parishes prepare to celebrate the joyous occasion of the
Installation of Bishop Michael Router as Bishop of Derry on Sunday 20
September, a Triduum of Masses will be celebrated in parishes throughout
the diocese, on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September. In our
parish these Masses will be celebrated on Friday next at 10am, Saturday
19th 10am and Sunday 20th 9.30am All are welcome to attend as we come
together as God’s people to pray for Bishop Router and the people of the
diocese, that we may walk together in faith and hope, guided by the Holy
Spirit.

Thank You to all who returned envelopes to the collection for Fr Anselm Meo
for the Indonesia Earthquake. This amounted to £3835 and €259. Thank you
for your great generosity. We are now in the process of sending this to him.
PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS TO THE DIOCESAN PRIESTHOOD ." In
today's gospel Jesus teaches a powerful lesson on forgiveness. We pray for the
men called to priesthood that, as they celebrate the Sacrament of R econciliation
with their people, they will help them to know and experience the L ord who
".is compassion and love, slow to anger, and rich in mercy."
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Derry Diocese is renewing and developing
its Diocesan Adoration Lay Committee in order to increase the prac tice of
Eucharistic Adoration in parishes throughout the diocese. You are welcome to
attend an Information Meeting on Wed 30 Sept, 8.00pm, in The Drummond
Hotel, 2 Main St., Ballykelly, Registration and light refreshments from
7.30pm.
THE COLUMBAN YOUNG ADULTS are a new group for those aged
18 - 30 in the diocese, who are seeking a community of like-minded young
adults who have Christ at the centre of their lives. Our September event
will be a Holy Hour and meditation on Thursday 17 September, 7:00pm at
our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, delivered by Fr Declan
McGeehan. Meditation will be followed by Solemn Benediction and light
refreshments. We are actively seeking new members- please come along
and bring a friend!
QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY reopens for the
new academic year on Monday 14 September , with weekday Masses and
our semester programme resuming. The first Sunday Mass will be
celebrated on 20 September at the new, earlier time of 7.00pm. Please
note the new time! New or returning student? Find out about what’s on,

Masses to sell Trócaire’s Gifts of Change — meaningful gifts that make a
real difference to families living in poverty around the world. We
provide everything you need including training and support. Last
Christmas, 50 parishes took part — and we’d love to grow that number even
