St. Michael's Well, Cooldaniel
Tuesday 29th September is the feast of St.
Michael the Archangel (Michaelmas).
The parish of Kilmichael is dedicated to St.
Michael. In the past the feast day was a
holiday in the parish. Celebrations included
rounds at St. Michael's Well in Cooldaniel.
The festivities continued at
Moneycusker Cemetery and later in the fair
field across from Cooldorrihy Church. To
remember the
occasion, Kilmichael Historical Society
invites you to prayers at the Holy Well on
Tuesday 29th at 7pm. All are welcome.

& Harvest Festival, there will also be a
cake sale and the club would be very
grateful if people would kindly donate

A night of music and song in aid of
Macroom Senior Citizens in St Colman ’s
Church, Macroom on Friday, 2nd October at
7.30pm. Come for music and a cuppa!

Sullane Singers, Celebration of Life
Singers, The Local Vocals. Tickets at door

Gougane Barra Sunday On Sunday 27th
of September 2026, confessions will be
available from 1.30pm followed by the
rosary at 2.30pm and Mass at 3.00pm.
Formation in faith is a programme for
young adults (18 -35) beginning on
Wednesday 30th September 2026. From
5.45-8.00pm in Mardyke House Cork.
Running for nine weeks, it offers the
opportunity to explore and deepen their
faith together. Each session begins with
food and refreshments followed by input
and discussion in a relaxed and welcoming
setting.
