? LIFE AFTER ALPHA ?
INVITATION TO CONTINUE THE JOURNEY
ChristLife ‘FOLLOWING CHRIST ’ Course
When Jesus called his first Disciples he said, “Come
Follow Me. ” He still makes that call to us today. The
‘ChristLife ’ series is an opportunity for you to respond to that call and continue
that journey you embarked upon with Alpha. FOLLOWING CHRIST is a 7 -week
course with a one day Retreat to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus. The
course will commence on TUESDAY 15 SEPTEMBER 2026 at 7:00pm in
HOLY ROSARY PARISH CENTRE, 503 Ormeau Road, BT7 3GR.
Each evening will follow a format similar to the Alpha Course and include a
video presentation and small group discussions each evening.
We will also have time for tea and coffee and a little something to eat!
The evening should last no more than a couple of hours.

St Bernadette's Third World Group - Lima Mission
Father Coney and staff members from St Bernadette ’s Children ’s Centres
in Lima will be speaking at St Bernadette's Masses
Sat 5th & Sunday 6th September . Their aim is to thank the Sponsors for their
continued support over many years, and at the same time promote the
sustainability of the projects. The Third World Group is collecting annual
sponsorship payments after both Masses this weekend and also on
12th &13th September . If you would like to sponsor a child within the Centres
please speak to us after Mass. We will be happy to give further details.

FÁILTE - WELCOME GROUP
There will be a get together of the group and new members in the coffee lounge
(St Bernadette ’s parish centre) on the 13th September after 11am mass .
We are blessed to have 16 members and would be delighted if more
parishioners came along to join us. You will find it to be a very worthwhile and
enriching ministry to be part of. Beannacht Dia libh.
HLI Ireland
Fr Lawrence Carney (USA), international speaker and popular author,
Provincial Tour of Ireland. Join us for the Ulster event at the Canal Court Hotel,
Newry, on Tuesday 29th September at 6:45pm,
with a First Class Relic of St Thérèse. Free admission.
THE WEST BELFAST HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The September Friday the 11th of September at 7.30pm
in St. Michael's Parish Centre , The September talk is entitled:
"The Lusitania and the U Boat Campaign 1914 -1918"
The guest speaker will be Mr Michael McConway
The Chosen – Season 2 at the Belfast Jesuit Centre
Weekly screenings of The Chosen: Season 2 will take place each Friday at the
Belfast Jesuit Centre. Tea/coffee at 10.45am , episode at 11.00am , followed by
a reflective Examen and discussion. All are welcome; no registration required.

COME AND SING WITH US!
St. Bernadette ’s Parish Choir is looking for new members! We return to
our musical duties on Sunday 6th September , singing each week at the
11.00am Sunday Mass , with a rehearsal beforehand.
There are no auditions, and you don ’t need to be an experienced
singer - just someone who enjoys singing and would like to be part of our
choir. We warmly welcome singers of all ages, so if you ’ve ever thought
about joining us, now is the perfect time to give it a try!

Down and Connor Cantor Training
Adults (18+) involved in parish music are invited to take part in Cantor
Training at St Joseph ’s Parish Centre, Dunloy. Training takes place on
Saturday 3 October, 17 October and 7 November, from 10.00am to
3.00pm (registration from 9.30am). Attendance at all three days is requir ed
for commissioning as a parish cantor. To request an application form,
