CEMETERY SUNDAYS IN PARISH
Sunday 13 th September in St Comgall’s Cemetery.
People are asked to assemble in the Church for prayers before going to the graves for
the blessing.
(a collection will be taken up to defray expenses for the services)
QUEEN’S CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY – WE’RE BACK!
The Catholic Chaplaincy at Queen’s reopens for the new academic year on Monday 14
September , with weekday Masses and our semester programme resuming.
Our first Sunday Mass is 20 September at the new, earlier time of 7.00pm. Please note the
new time!

welcome too. Visit our newly renewed Chaplaincy at 28 Elmwood Avenue for Mass, Confessions

Padre Pio Mass – Blessing with the glove of Padre Pio
Our Lady of Lourdes Church Moneyglass, on Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm. The
Mass will be held in the Grotto. A Petition box will be avail able for all petitions.

TEA AND COFFEE MORNING The social and hospitality would love you all to come
and join us for a cuppa and some refreshments on Sunday 20th September in St Comgall’s
Youth Centre after 11am Mass. Bring your family and friends – everyone is welcome .
Healing Night will be on Sunday 20th September at 6pm. There will be Eucharistic
Adoration, confession and an opportunity for quiet individual prayer and music.
HSC NI Foster Care This September HSC NI Foster Care are hosting two child specific virtual
information events which will feature 6 children from across Northern Ireland who urgently need safe
and nurturing foster homes. EVENT 1 Tuesday 22 September 7.30pm - 9.00pm EVENT 2 Thursday
24 September 7.30pm - 9.00pm

For world leaders and all in authority, that they may choose paths of p eace, dialogue,
and mutual forgiveness over power, division and conflict.

For all those who struggle with ‘resentment and anger’; may God give them the grace
to forgive, the patience to understand one another, and the courage to let go of
bitterness.

That the gift of creation may be used with care an responsibility. May human b eings
be true stewards and act for the welfare of all creatures who share our world

For the sick who carry a daily cross of pain or helplessness may be granted hea ling and
