CRAIGBANE NO 10AM MASS ON SUNDAY . Fr O Kane's Retirement Event.
Craigbane’s event to mark Fr O Kane's retirement will be held on Sunday
6th September in Craigbane at 4pm. Mass will be celebrated in Craigbane Ch apel
followed by a salad tea and concert in Craigbane Hall. Admission to the Hall
event will be by ticket only.
SICK IN CLAUDY WILL BE VISITED Monday 7 th and Tuesday 8 th
September.
FR O’KANE’S RETIREMENT MASS – Fr O’Kane wishes to thank all
parishioners who attended his retirement Mass and celebration
refreshments. Thank you to all the Claudy Committee members for their
work in organising the event. Thank you most sincerely to everyone w ho
contributed towards the very generous gifts which I received and fo r
helping me celebrate this very special occasion with my family.

parishioners who contributed so generously to Fr O’Kane’s Retirement
Celebration. A special word of thanks to all who helped with the ca tering
and organisation of the event, on this joyous yet heart rendering o ccasion

ST PATRICKS CHURCH CLAUDY ; The Rosary will be prayed on parish
webcam from Monday - Thursday at 6pm. Divine mercy chaplet and Div ine
OfÏce ( Midday Prayer ) will be prayed from Monday - Friday at 3pm.
Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus & Divine OfÏce ( Evening Prayer ) wi ll
be prayed every Friday at 6pm.
The Children’s Rosary will be prayed on Saturday 12th September
at 2pm, new Families welcome.
ST PATRICKS CHURCH CLAUDY; Experience the power of Sacred
reading every Thursday at 7pm. Come join our weekly Scripture group a s
we prayerfully read, meditate on and reflect on the upcoming Sunday
Gospel. All Are Welcome.
CHURCH GATE COLLECTION WILL BE HELD IN BOTH CHURCHES ON

Blessing of Bikers and Motorcycles will take place on Sunday 13
September in St Aengus’ Chapel, Burt, Co Donegal, at 1:30. All are
welcome to attend the brief service and blessing. Following the blessin g
all are welcome to join the run to Ned’s Point RNLI Station, to present the
donation to the RNLI.
Please note, Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 13 September in St
Patrick’s Chapel, DUNGIVEN, at 11:30am for deceased bikers, especially
those who have died in past year.

Evening for bereaved parents on Thursday 10th September
2026 at 7.30pm in the Raddison Blu Hotel, Letterkenny F92
FK15 . This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of
the age of their child, the circumstances of their death, or how recent
their death was. There is no need for registration, this is a walk in
meeting.

Donegal Group 173 Rise and Shine Trust (formerly The Irish
Handicapped Children's Pilgrimage Trust and The Irish Pilgrimage
Trust) are celebrating 40 years of taking young people with special needs
to Lourdes each Easter. We are celebrating with a special Mass on
Saturday 26th September in the Church of the Irish Martyr's Letterkenny
at 12 noon. The Mass will be concelebrated by Bishop Niall Coll and Bishop
Donal Mc Keown Diocese of Derry and many of the priests who travelled
to Lourdes with us over the years. We invite all the guests and their
families and all the helpers who travelled with us over the years to ou r
mass to celebrate Our Lady of Lourdes.
HOST FOR HOSPICE: October is officially Foyle Hospice Coffee Morning Month. We are
calling on supporters to help us raise vital funds by hosting a Coffee Morning. Whether it’s at
home, work or in your local community, you can support your local hospice by bringing your

VOCATIONS We pray for the men called to priesthood, to the ministry of teaching and preaching
in the name of Jesus, and encouraging their brothers and sisters to turn away from sin and live
as followers of Christ in today's world.
MICHAEL ENGLISH CHURCH CONCERT: An evening of Faith, Hope and
Inspiration. The concert takes place on Friday 2 October at 7.15pm, in St

Season of Creation 2026: The Season of Creation takes place from 1
September to 4 October, bringing Christians throughout the world
together in prayer, reflection and action for the care of our common
home. This year’s theme, Living Water , invites us to give thanks for the
gift of water and renew our care for God’s creation.
