We are blessed to have a group of dedicated parishi oners who serve as
Ministers of the Word and Ministers of the Eucharis t in St. John the Baptist
Church.
New rotas for Ministers of the Word and Ministers o f the Eucharist will begin in
December. If you would like to join the new rota of Ministers of Word or
Ministers of the Eucharist, please contact the paris h office 021 4773821 or
email parishoffice@kinsale-parish.org
These Ministries are open to Catholics aged 18 and over and involve serving at
Mass approximately once every 6 weeks.
Training will be provided.

anniversary of the Battle of Kinsale

¥ A Spanish sailing vessel, the Nao
Santa María, built as a full replica
of the ships that travelled to
Ireland in 1601, will berth in
Kinsale Harbour from 17th to 21st
September. During its stay, the
crew will open the ship to visitors,
offering guided tours and
demonstrations that illustrate life
aboard the vessels used by
Spanish forces more than four
centuries ago.

1601 throughout the day.
