Baptisms will take place every two months usually on the 2nd Sunday at 12.30pm and are to be booked
directly with the Parish Office only at magheracloone@clogherparishes.ie . Maximum of three Baptism’s on
each day, the following are the next available dates, Sunday 8th November in St Patrick’s and Sunday 10th
January 2027 in St Peter/St Paul’s. Weddings must also be notified to the Parish Office.
Weekday Mass Intentions: There is no guarantee that the 9.30am Weekday Masses will be celebrated on a
Monday or Friday, if there is a funeral on the Monday or Friday the funeral takes precedence and so the 9.30am
will not be celebrated as scheduled. Secondly, if there is just one priest in the Parish at a particular time , the
9.30am Mass may be cancelled at short notice. For the above reasons it is advisable to only book anniversary
Masses for a weekend Mass Saturday at 7pm or 9.30am on a Sunday.
NOTICE: From September 1 st 2026: ALL WEEKEND ANNIVERSARY MASSES are to be booked only
through the Parish Office in writing by either texting Parish mobile on 087 6455 729 or emailing
magheracloone@clogherparishes.ie for both Churches. No phone voice messages accepted due to details
needed for correct spelling in bulletin.

Confirmation 2027: Date for Confirmation 2027 is Saturday 24th April at 11am in St Patrick’s Church. Celebrant
Bishop Laurence Duffy. First Holy Communion dates will be finalised in next few weeks.
Annual family mass and blessings with relics of St. Therese and her parents, St. Louis and St. Zelie Martin,
will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Bawn on Sunday, September 27th at 11.30am. Celebrant: Fr. Ben Hughes.
Coffee Morning, in aid of Kingscourt & Carrickmacross Cancer Care, in Magheracloone Community centre
Eircode: A81 HC99) on Thursday 17th September from 9am to 2pm. Hosted by Rosie Hand, June McEntee and
Margaret Babington. All supporters will be entered into a free draw, all are welcome. Your continued support
would be greatly appreciated.
Magheracloone Community Centre CLG will take place on Tuesday 15th September 2026 in the Centre at
8pm. All are welcome.
Culture night 18th September at 7pm in Magheracloone Community Centre. Come along and celebrate the rich
mix of cultures that make up our community. This family friendly event will showcase traditions and talents from
around the world through food, music, stories and dance. Special performance by Carrickmacross world choir and
